Each image in my body of work was taken along the coast of Delray Beach, where I live and photograph daily. As a local sea turtle biologist, I’ve developed a trained eye for the subtle changes and patterns along the coast. From the glitter of mid morning sun, to deep hues of late afternoon,
Brianna Fournier is a coastal fine art photographer and local sea turtle biologist based in Delray Beach, Florida. With a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and over a decade of experience in sea turtle conservation, her work is rooted in both scientific understanding and lived connection to the shoreline she photographs daily.
Working in the water and from the air (FAA Part 107 licensed), Brianna documents the ever-changing rhythm of Florida’s coast through underwater and aerial perspectives. From the warm pastels of first light to the stark blues of midday, her imagery reflects an intimate study of coastal ecosystems and the marine life that depends on them.
While her foundation is rooted in conservation science, a portion of her work naturally gravitates toward surf culture — an homage to her Southern California roots and early life in skate culture. This influence introduces a subtle energy into her body of work.
Through large-scale fine art prints, Brianna’s work seeks to celebrate the beauty of threatened marine environments while fostering a deeper sense of responsibility for their protection.
